Challenge—
The FreeMove Alliance was formed by Orange, Movistar, Telecom Italia Mobile and T-Mobile to offer international businesses a means of taking the cost and complexity out of managing international mobile services – and provide a credible alternative to Vodafone. Banner was tasked with developing a single message and visual identity to tie together four strong brands across six European markets.
Solution—
We first identified the core brand benefit of simplicity and then created an appropriately simple message and look-and-feel. The ads highlighted the frustrations and complexities of managing international mobile services and presented the FreeMove Alliance as the easy,
cost-effective alternative with the line ‘Mobility without complexity‘.
Various executions focus on the offer of a single sales and service contract, straightforward, seamless roaming with a single bill, and the ability to access local mobile services while abroad.
