A smarter solution for Colt

Challenge—
Colt have a range of point products designed specifically for the needs of the SME market and sold through a network of European channel partners. The challenge they had was twofold. Firstly, while partners where relatively successful at selling individual products, they struggled in moving beyond this to sell suites of interlinked solutions. Secondly, Colt wanted to get much closer to its partners, to help them to succeed, strengthening the relationship.
Solution—
Firstly we worked with Colt on the naming of the new suite of products, which was finally christened Colt Smart Office. We developed a positioning around “greater flexibility, more possibilities” to successfully compete against the perceived inflexibility of the national carriers we were competing with.
Then we created a suite of communications materials that could be used across Europe. These included EDMs, direct marketing, datasheets and solution guides. We also built an Eloqua-powered microsite and an interactive Flash tool allowing visitors to discover the right suite of products for their individual needs.
Finally, we developed a full channel pack featuring cheat sheets, proposition guides and telemarketing scripts to get partners on board with the campaign.
